NFP Appoints Spencer as SVP, Commercial Risk, Northeast

Jack Spencer

NFP, an Aon company and property/casualty broker and benefits consultant headquartered in New York City, appointed Jack Spencer as senior vice president, commercial risk, in its Northeast region.

Based in West Hartford, Connecticut, Spencer has a decade of experience in commercial risk insurance in the New York City metro area at Arch Insurance Group Inc., where he held several positions, most recently vice president, alternative markets. He led two of Arch’s largest casualty group captives while writing several lines, including workers’ compensation, general liability and auto liability/auto physical damage in construction, and heterogeneous group captives.

Lawley Promotes Three New Partners

Lawley, headquartered in Buffalo, New York, promoted Michael Szymoniak Jr. and Adam Clouden to partners within the employee benefits division, and Michael Bandini to partner within the property/casualty division.

Szymoniak has a decade of experience in strategic benefits planning, cost-control initiatives, self-funded arrangements, and captive insurance solutions. He played a key role in developing Lawley’s Proactive Health Captive and launching Lawley Marketplace, the firm’s benefits technology platform.

Clouden, who has 10 years of experience, advises organizations on funding options and benefit programs tailored to financial targets, risk levels and employee needs. He specializes in self-funded health plans and captive insurance strategies.

Bandini has 15 years of experience at Lawley and technical expertise across construction, life sciences, manufacturing, and other specialized commercial sectors. He is focused on supporting ambulance services and emergency response organizations.
