RenaissanceRe Capital Partners, the third-party reinsurance capital management and insurance-linked securities (ILS) unit of the Bermuda-headquartered reinsurance firm, has promoted Roger Beach to Vice President in the Business Development and Investors Relations function.

roger-beach-renaissancere-capital-partnersBeach joined the RenaissanceRe Capital Partners team in February 2021 as a Senior Analyst, based in Bermuda.

His initial role at the company covered the RenaissanceRe Capital Partners Investor Relations function as well as Operational Due Diligence, supporting operations and activities related to business development and the transactional needs of insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance joint-ventures managed by RenRe.

Beach then became an Assistant Vice President in 2022 and this month he has been promoted to Vice President, while the focus now shifts to Business Development and Investor Relations.

In his role Beach will support the oversight and execution of business development activities and investor enquiries, with a focus on driving investor engagement and supporting the sales strategy for its range of ILS strategies and third-party capitalised reinsurance joint-ventures.

In addition he will assist on the development of market intelligence and support fundraising initiatives for the qualified institutional investor base.

Prior to joining RenRe, Beach worked for insurance and reinsurance broker Aon in Bermuda for almost three years, with his focus there also being on insurance-linked securities (ILS).

At Aon, Beach supported and managed a range of services provided to the brokers’ clients, across ILS instruments including catastrophe bonds, mortgage ILS deals, reinsurance sidecars and life insurance securitizations.

Earlier in his career, Beach worked as a General Accountant at life and annuities reinsurance specialist Athene for four years, prior to which he spent time at consultancy Deloitte in Bermuda and the Caribbean.

After reinsurer RenaissanceRe (RenRe) announced its full-year 2025 results we reported that third-party investor capital under management across RenaissanceRe Capital Partners’ range of reinsurance joint-ventures and insurance-linked securities strategies reached a new all-time high of just over $9 billion at the end of 2025, before dropping slightly as 2026 began and the manager returned profits to some investors.
